The FedEx Cup What It's All About.

The FedEx Cup What It's All About.

The month of August is always a big one for golf fans, as it marks the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. This year's playoffs are shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory, with a number of top players vying for the title.

One of the players to watch is Justin Thomas.

Thomas has been in great form all season, and he's currently the top-ranked golfer in the world. He's won four times this year, including the PGA Championship. Thomas is a great all-around player and is always a threat to win on any course.

Another player to watch is Scottie Scheffler.

Scheffler has also been in great form this year, and he's currently ranked second in the world. He's won three times this year, including the Masters Tournament. Scheffler is a long-hitter with a great short game. He's also very good under pressure, which will be important in the playoffs.

The defending FedEx Cup champion is Patrick Cantlay. Cantlay has been struggling a bit this year, but he's still a dangerous player. He's a great putter and always seems to find a way to win when it matters most.

The playoffs will be played over four events, with the top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings after the BMW Championship advancing to the Tour Championship. The Tour Championship will be a head-to-head match play event, with the winner of each match advancing to the next round. The player with the lowest score at the end of the Tour Championship will be crowned FedEx Cup champion.

Dustin Johnson celebrates with the FedEx Cup Trophy after winning the title in September (2020) at East Lake Golf Club.

The FedEx Cup is the most prestigious prize in golf, and it's sure to be a battle until the end of this year. Be sure to tune in to see who comes out on top!

In addition to the FedEx Cup Playoffs, there are a number of other big events taking place in August. The PGA Tour will be holding the Wyndham Championship and the Northern Trust, while the European Tour will be holding the BMW PGA Championship and the Irish Open. These events will all be important for players trying to qualify for the Ryder Cup, which will be held in September.
